Azhar holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Hons) in Operational Research from Universiti Sains Malaysia.

He is certified in ISO 9000, ISO 14000, TS 16949, ISO 50001, OSHMS 18000, and recognized as a Technical Consultant by JPK-MOHR, CIDB, and the American Society for Quality.

Azhar has worked with multinational corporations and has trained over 300 organizations in areas such as TQM, QCC, innovation, productivity, strategic planning, and supervisory development

He is also a Certified Communicator with International Toastmasters and certified HRD Corp trainer.
